Coasting...
That's what I'm doing........ I'm coasting at the moment!
I'm loving life, and I'm just happy.
I got a promotion at work, I'm moving out of the Customer Services area and into the Logistics and planning section instead.
I can't wait!!!
It means moving offices..... I'll no longer be stuck down here in the distribution centre, miles away from everyone.
I'm moving up to head office, with a real canteen, and real coffee breaks!!
Did I mention that I can't wait!!!! hehehe
I have known for a while now, but haven't been able to talk about it with anyone, so it is a huge relief to finally be able to tell people my great news!
There is one tiny spanner in the works though - one of the ladies that I work with at the moment, decided to hand in her resignation last week, so that has thrown the timing out for my move!
Bugger bugger bugger!
So instead of changing Mid May, it is now going to be Mid June.
Which in turn means that the holiday I was looking forward to taking (in Sydney with my darling sister) has to be put on the back burner!
In fact, I have been asked if I can refrain from taking leave until Late August!!!
ARGH!!!! Not fair!!!
But I guess in saying that, I just spent a fortune on a new bed AND new bedroom furniture, so I don't have a lot of spare cash anyway!
Ah well...... that's life huh??
Weight.......... Well I haven't been doing anything too drastic, same old same old to be honest!
Still got the cereal and seeds and yoghurt buzz going on at breakfast, then lunch is usually a protein shake with banana and extra fruit, then a healthy dinner.
Like last night we had gorgeous gorgeous open chicken burger on foccaia bread with tonnes of salad - it was just divine!!
And Oh So Healthy!!!!!
And although I haven't been on the scales in the past week, something must be happening, cos my jeans are fitting a hell of a lot better today than what they have been doing lately! Hehehe..... I even got asked by a co-worker if I have lost more weight........... YAY ME!!!
Righto........ now that I have been at work for a good hour and not actually done any REAL work, I better go off and look a bit busy....
I LOVE/HATE Fridays - we never have a lot to do, so while it is damn cruisy, it can also get a little boring.......

Ooops...
Didn't realise that it had been that long since I had done an update!!
I'm still here - still plodding along.....
Still eating my bran and yoghurt and seeds for breakfast...
Still eating salads and healthy sandwiches for lunch....
And still making the evening meals as low fat as possible!!!
AND.................. still partaking in FAR too much of the alcoholic beverages that I have come to love, and still not exercising!!!!!!
Hahahahaha...So although the scales are certainly not going up at all, they aren't exactly coming down at any great rate of knots either!!!
I have a lot going on at the moment.....
Not too much I can say here cos you never know who is reading and who knows who, but in a couple of weeks I may be able to let you all in on my secret!

Oooooo, I got a BARGAIN yesterday!!!
I have been looking for a new bed for a while, cos mine is about 14 years old and has TERRIBLE roll together.........
Every day I have been waking up with a sore back and I'm just not sleeping well at all, but Tuesday night was the last straw!!
Rhian decided that sleep was over rated and decided to get up 4 times!!!
The last time (4.46am) I was too damn tired to argue with her, so I let her in my bed......
BUT she tossed and turned and she is such a hot sleeper that I ended up trying to stay as far away from her as possible.
But when you have a nearly 3 year old that insists on sleeping pretty much sideways, there ain't a lot of room for anyone else, so I got next to no sleep at all.
Then when I got up yesterday morning my back was so damn sore I could hardly walk.
That made me jump into action and get serious about getting a new bed!!!
So I went hunting at lunch time, 5 shops I looked at, and found NOTHING that took my fancy!!!
Then I called into Bed R Us in Lower Hutt as a last ditch effort, and found the PERFECT bed!!!
It is a KING size split base beauty that was reduced from $3099 down to $1399 cos it was the last one and it was the shop model.
SOOOOOOOO COMFY!!!!!!! I nearly fell asleep right there in the shop!
Anyway, the good luck gods must have been shining on me yesterday, cos when the salesman looked it up in the computer, he found a brand new bed in the warehouse and gave it to me for the shop model price!!!!
AND...... he gave me 12 months interest free as well!!!!
Does it get any better than that???
It gets delivered tomorrow, and I am SOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!
I might take the day off work just to sleep in it!! hahahaha.....
The only bummer is, is that I now have to go buy a bigger electric blanket for it, cos my gorgeous new fleecy electric blanket is a fitted queen size one and there is no way in hell that it will fit on a king size bed!!
BUMMED!
It cost me well over $400 to buy it only about 6 months ago........
Ah well, never mind - Maybe I can get some $$'s back on TradeMe for it??
Righto - I'm outta here for now.....
I've actually got a killer headache, so I might even bail on work for the day!
