109 kg ...

I've gained 800grams in the last few weeks....... not bad considering I've been eating a LOT of crap!

I'm happy in my life, and not overly concerned about making the healthiest choices sometimes.

But that has to stop, because I was reminded of a very exciting fact the other day by my gorgeous little sister!

She promised me ages and ages ago, that once I got down under the 100kg mark, she would shout me a trip over to Sydney to see her!!

I had totally forgotten about that, and so when she reminded me, it gave me a huge incentive to get back on track!

I'm yo-yoing a lot lately.... up and down, up and down, and I have to make a conscious effort to just get down down down, so that is what I am trying to do.

Yesterday in the canteen at work (yes, my new office actually HAS a canteen with real food!!!) I had a tuna and salad sandwich.  Good choice I thought, considering the hot chips looked VERY inviting!!!

Today, a few of us are heading out to lunch, and instead of going to McDonalds, I've convinced them to go to Wholly Bagels!  That way I can get a low fat bagel with salad, instead of a Boss burger with Chips and a chocolate shake!  hahaha....

Tonight for dinner - I'm actually going to cook VEGETABLES!!!!!

Oh yeah.... and for those of you that have guessed already and those of you that have no clue......

My "flatmate" is actually my boyfriend, so I'm sure that makes a lot of things fall in to place now?!?!   *wink*

Yes I'm happy - he makes me laugh every day.  He's cute, and smart and funny and challenges me in ways I have never been challenged before.  All good of course!!!

I have been so used to getting my own way for years and years, but he doesn't let me walk all over him, so although it has taken a while to get used to, I'm loving it!!!  Does that sound weird???

I mean, if my ex and I ever had an argument, I would pack a queen size shitty and he would apologise and back down.  Whatever I wanted, I got - simple!!!

Now, I can't throw a tantrum to get my own way, it's all about compromise, and although we still have a lot to learn about each other, it seems to be working!

We DO things together, whether it is going to a bar and having a quiet drink, or going out for a meal, or even just blobbing at home watching DVD's, we actually ENJOY each other's company!  I was always trying to find things to do to get me out of the house when I was with my ex, that's why I took on so much, ie Tupperware, Avon, the gym etc....

Now, I actually LOVE being at home, just being with my new man...

Enough babbling......

I've got work to do!

Hehehehe.....

P.S.  I'll let you know when I'm in VIRGIN FAT!!!   hehe

Comments:
I'm so glad you are happy Jo :-)

Happy Jo!!! Glad you are so happy... you can tell by the way you write!!! Goodluck on that virgin fat!!!!

Oh! I'm just too thick!

Having said that, congrats!!! It's nice to hear you happy and content.

Look forward to hearing about you hitting the virgin fat and about that trip to Sydney.

You inspire me :)

Great to hear that you're so happy Jo! What a fantastic incentive to get into double digits, can't wait to read that post!

That's great - I sort of thought there was a really good reason for you sounding so happy lately:-)

I accidently clicked on your June 2006 posts and you know you were neatly 11 kilos heavier, what an achievement, slowly and surely, great stuff. Good news about the happy life, you sound great,

Cheers

Margaret

Hey Jo, I had suspected the flatmate was more, but I am more pleased to read how happy you sound more than anything. Your focus has changed and is more positive, alot like my mine over the last 6 months. My weight is coming off slowly, but dancing is now my passion (and it does help with weight loss). I am happier, more confident and have a permenant smile on my face, which people still assume is male related, not yet but am open to suggestion. I look forward to reading more about this happier Jo, I like her!! Well done, Take care, you deserve it, you keepme inspired.
Sherrece xx
